I have a movie and wanted to mesh it with subtitles and i used TMPGenc but ....?
I have a movie and wanted to mesh it with subtitles and i used TMPGenc. When i was converting the video i selected Output file to avi and as sound format i selected Layer3- Mp3. When it got done, i tried to watch it with home dvd player but it had no sound. The video along with subtitles are perfectly ok but the sound is gone. Did i choose the wrong audio format ? what format should be selected ?

Most home DVD players use audio MP2 for AVI files, it is probably this.
