My Sony Mwz-a816 mp3 player usb cable is not recognised by the computer?
It was working before but I just installed windows media player 11 and the usb cable is not recongised by the computer? It works on other computers but not mine.
You might need to make your MP3 software be the main software for when you plug it in. It might not be recognized by WMP11, and WMP11 automatically changed it to that when you installed it. Unfortunately they usually ask you if you want to do this, so you might have done it to yourself. You can change this on the settings/control panel.
