How do i lower my cpu usage %..?
i have a pentium 4 2.40Ghz, with 2gb of ram, i run norton antivirus 2009, anfd spybot often so no spyware/virus's, i just want to know how to speed up up my pc from getting sluggish and bogged down when im downloading a video or transfering to my mp3 player?
Norton is probably slowing you down because it is scanning everything that is downloaded or transferred. I am sorry - but it is one of the biggest resource hogs. Naturally, you would not want to disable it when working on the Internet, but when transferring files, you could.
