mp3 hard drive formatting?
I have stupidly partitioned little hard drive of my mp3 or mp4 (I don’t know) 8 GB player. Now, when I plug it into my pc or laptop, and click on its icon, which is properly recognized, I get a message ‘the disk is empty’. The same happens when I try to copy a file into it. When trying to format it, I had no luck either, and the windows formatting tool will inform me that the device cannot be formatted. Is there a chance to save it and get it back to work.
If it has an internal "reset" or "reformat" utility, use it. You'll lose all the songs, but the firmware will not be affected.
