Mp3 Player Comparisons

MP3 players are ubiquitous today. Unlike traditional MP3s, modern models could be clipped to clothes' collars, cuffs, handles of bags, belts and attached to cars and hips. From senior citizens to little kids, no one dislikes them. As these media players are not immortal, purchase is very common. They are varied in hundreds of sizes, functions, shapes, styles, etc., don't you feel dazzled when you choose your MP3 players?

And sellers are all "smart", especially some wholesale MP3 players sellers and small retailers. Most of us are in negative position in our shopping. Some of us might even buy an unneeded MP3 because we trust what these sellers tell us is what we needed. But the fact is totally different. So what should we consider during our purchase? How do we change our unfavorable roles?

Knowing usual types of MP3s is basic to successful purchase. Generally, there are 4 types of MP3 players, that is, flash memory MP3s, Hard-drive based MP3, Mini hard-drive and cell phones with built-in MP3. Flash memory types are the lightest and the smallest and their memory storage is also the smallest. Hard-drive MP3s, which capacity is from 20GB on up, are bigger and heavier. Mini hard drive types are middle types among them. Cell phones with built-in MP3 usually have fewer functions than stand-alone MP3s and their storage memory is very limited.

Have a clear idea about what additional features you want. Do you just want a media player to play music? Do you need a MP3 with FM turner? Do you want one that allows to view song text and pictures?...Take time to think about these questions. And when you shop for your MP3, just straightly tell him/her what you want. Don't let sellers tell you what you want - you have bigger chance to be misleaded.

Make price comparison before your purchase. Prices listed in the wholesale electronics store or retail shops are usually higher than the actual prices. But when you purchase, sellers always tell that their prices are the lowest or the product prices are exactly the same as other shops. That is not true. Price comparison makes you know what prices are bottom-line and what prices are unreasonably high.

Be extra careful when you purchase from China electronics suppliers/sellers. China "Shanzhai" products are famous all around the world. If you pick a reliable provider, you would get high quality but low-priced, appealing MP3; but you would buy garbage MP3 if you unluckily encountered unreliable sellers.

Note the upgrade capacity of the MP3 you intend to buy. Advance MP3 players are made with upgrade software which allows you to update firmware or the player's operating system. For those who don't want obsolete players, please pay extra attention to this; if you are not one of them, just forget it.

Bearing the above points in minds, you will have a different, joyful shopping experience. Remember that we are leaders in our purchase. Don't let others lead you by the nose.

IPOD all the way!!
my brother got the zune for christmas last year and he had to return it because we needed to intall a totally new music library system. the song we bought on itunes, can not go on anyother mp3 player. (songs from the computer cant go to the zune)so, if you already have an ipod, it would be wayyy easier to get another ipod than installing a whole new system and re-buying all of your songs
also, the sound quality comes from the headphones but mostly the quality of the song. the mp3 player just plays the song.
lastly, as far as i know, my ipod battery lasts realllyyyy long. to help your battery last long, you should plug you ipod into the wall when you carge it and only charge the ipod when there is no battery!!!!
