how many songs does the microsoft zune 8gb mp3 player hold?
Depends on the bit rate, size & format of each individual song.
Say for example you have a 160 kbps MP3 which is typically 4-6 MBs in size.
8GB = 8192 MB (1GB = 1024 MB)
so 2048 4MB songs could fit in an 8GB iPod
(NB the advertised capacity maybe 8GB but you don't actually get 8GB as some is used for storage of files to run the user interface of the iPod)
