how long should AAA batteries last in a coby mp-c841 mp3 player?
I only got about 20 minutes out of a new battery? This can't be normal. Does the volume level have any effect on the battery life?
Slightly, but yes! The louder most objects are, the more power it consumes. Unless it has an internal battery, which tends to have little or no effect on power supply.
Upgrade mp3 player immediately! Or, buy some rechargable batteries. I reccomend enegizer!
