Are portable CD players too outdated?
So, I'm 14 and I haven't gotten an ipod yet. I usually just buy the CD and pop it in the "old school" mp3 player....the portable CD player. My parents think an ipod is too expensive, and with the money issues we're having right now, I can understand that. Anyway, I also haven't gotten one since I hate fads. I have a few friends who are in the same situation I'm in. Is a portable CD player really that bad? Also, if I did get an ipod somehow, aren't the songs expensive? The other thing I kinda thought was a bummer is that when you buy the CD, you get all the pics and lyrics and stuff; stuff you don't get on an ipod. Please give me advice on whether I should really invest in an ipod. Thanks!
Don't worry about what anyone else thinks. Use your CD player proudly! Just think, no one will want to steal it like they would your ipod. Rise above the pressure of the trend!
